Gabby and Nina are 5th grade co-teachers at Sheridan School in Washington, DC.
Gabby is a graduate of Middlebury College where she studied Sociology, Education, and Mandarin Chinese. She has taught various ages ranging from 1st grade to 7th grade along with various types of classrooms spanning from self-contained Emotionally Behaviorally Disturbed (EBD) classrooms to co-teaching at her current progressive independent school. Gabby was originally trained as a Personal Care Assistant for students on the Autistic spectrum, and thus has a strong love of DisAbility Studies.
Nina is a graduate of Dartmouth College, and she holds a degree in psychology and a certificate in elementary teacher education. She received her Masters of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Teachers College at Columbia University. Nina has taught students of a variety of ages in both public and independent schools in New York, Chicago, Berlin, and New Delhi.
